Welcome to Etnashire

Lassù...dove la vista del mare con i suoi luccichii a poco a poco scompare riempiendo gli occhi di verdi colline...dove l'odore di bosco prende il sopravvento sul profumo di mediterraneo..lassù dove l'aria d'altura rinfresca il calore del sud mentre nubi minacciose fanno da contorno a scenari english style.In quella porzione di territorio a sud dell'Etna, tra 600 e 900 metri d'altitudine, immediatamente prima che gli alberi aggrappati a verdi colline cedano il passo ad un lunare territorio fatto principalmente di lava secolare, lì nel mio immaginario esiste l'Etnashire...terroir unico fatto di vite e muretti in pietra piccole cascine e tanta tanta suggestione romantica.

Up there ... where the view of the sea with its glitters gradually disappears filling the eyes with green hills ... where the smell of the forest takes over the scent of the Mediterranean ... where the offshore air refreshes the warmth of the south while threatening clouds surround the English style sceneries.In that portion of territory south of Etna, between 600 and 900 meters of altitude, immediately before the trees clinging to green hills give way to a lunar territory made mainly of secular lava, there in my imagination there exists the Etnashire ... unique terroir made of grapevines and stone walls small farmhouses and so much romantic charm.
