Christmas markets

La potenza evocativa di questa immagine mi lascia sempre senza parole...i colori timidi ma decisi che emergono da un cielo livido e nevoso, gli alberi tipicamente spogli, la piazzetta dominata dalla chiesa del paese.... una cartolina molto naif dell'inverno etneo che mi riporta prepotentemente al gelo dei mercatini natalizi del nord Europa...ma siamo nel profondo sud mediterraneo ed è questa la magia dell'Etnashire... ma forse tutto ciò è solo nella mia mente.

The evocative power of this image always leaves me speechless ... the timid but decisive colors that emerge from a livid and snowy sky, the typically bare trees, the little square dominated by the church of the town .... a very naive postcard of the winter etneo that brings me back to the frost of the Christmas markets of northern Europe ... but we are in the deep south of the Mediterranean and this is the magic of Etnashire ... but maybe all this is only in my mind.
